      Description

The puppet-agent package installs /etc/profile.d/puppet-agent.sh which is supposed to append /opt/puppetlabs/bin to the system PATH if it isn't present. However it doesn't seem to work.

      The script in question:

      # Add /opt/puppetlabs/bin to the path for sh compatible users

      if ! echo $PATH | grep -q /opt/puppetlabs/bin ; then
        export PATH=$PATH:/opt/puppetlabs/bin
      fi
