Description
On Ubuntu 14.04 and Debian Wheezy systems, the
{/var/run}directory is mounted as a tmpfs filesysten, which is mounted completely clean on boot-up. With a proper vardir Puppet server can't start, so this will need to be created somewhere in the init script before the service starts.
