Description
At present, without suitable logging, it's quite difficult to verify an environment is configured properly. It would make sense to write a quick PowerShell script that verifies important configuration. This could be run as part of `vagrant up` to establish the box is in the proper state. The list of items to verify includes, but is not limited to:
- tools like editors, debuggers and process managers are installed
- Windows settings are properly configured (show hidden files, windows error reporting, crash dumps, etc)
- Ruby environment is in PATH / global gems like bundler are available
- .NET 4 / PS 3 is installed (where appropriate)
This should also be OS version agnostic.
