      • Chocolatey was previously installed.
      • The license file has been placed without the extension (licensed edition package) being installed.

      Details

Any run of Puppet will cause an error when attempting to set chocolateyversion:

Debug: Facter: fact "chocolateyversion" has resolved to "Error when attempting to load chocolatey licensed assembly. Ensure
       that chocolatey.licensed.dll exists at
       'C:\ProgramData\chocolatey\extensions\chocolatey\chocolatey.licensed.dll'.
       Install with `choco install chocolatey.extension`.
The error message itself may be helpful as well:

      Workarounds

The only workaround for this is manual intervention.
