    • Adds the checksum_value parameter to the file type. If present, puppet will use the checksum (existing parameter) and checksum_value (new parameter) to determine if a file resource is insync or not.

    Description

      Add a checksum_value parameter to the file type. Together checksum and checksum_value will unambiguously specify the desired checksum for file content. Currently it is ambiguous, see PUP-1043.
