      Description

      In hiera I have

      mysql::version: 4.4

      In my manifests I have :

      $stripped_version = regsubst($version, '\.', '')

      It gave me this error

      Error: Could not retrieve catalog from remote server: Error 400 on SERVER: regsubst(): bad target Float:`5.5'

      If I add simple quote around my hiera value, it is working but in your documentation you say

      Numbers are automatically converted to strings when interpolated into a string. The automatic conversion uses decimal (base 10) notation.

      Best regards
