External Facts are not loading when kept inside a module

The External facts are written in python and they are placed inside the module_name/facts.d directory.

when we are accessing the those facts from module_name/manifests/init.pp they are not returning the facts values instead they are returning nothing.

but they are working fine when we run facter command with --external-dir option.

How to overcome this issue?
