    Description

      In PUP-7259, we modified the agent to requests catalogs and file_metadata from the server in one of the agent's supported formats, i.e. Accept: application/json, pson, etc. The server will select the first format from the list that it also supports.

      However, puppet still sends facts and reports in PSON.

      PUP-7259 enabled the server to start accepting reports in JSON and has already been resolved.

      PUP-7257 will enable the server to start accepting facts in JSON. Once that lands -and is promoted into puppetserver-, we can modify the agent to start sending facts and reports as JSON (this ticket).
