      Description

      Prefetching in AIX assumes that all packages have a valid source attribute. This is not always the case, as ensure => absent does not require such a source. Thus the following manifest will cause prefetch to fail:

      package { 'sudo.rte':
          ensure => latest,
          source => "/mnt/my-packages"
      }
       
      package { 'curl.rte':
          ensure => absent,
      }
