Can you please release the v5.x puppetserver package for Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 'trusty' ?

There is puppet-agent, puppetdb, but not puppetserver :

Dje4om Thanks for the report. Those packages should be available, we'll make sure to get them back up shortly.

Hi Dje4om,

Unfortunately I was incorrect in my last post. With puppet5 we no longer have puppetserver packages available for trusty due to the fact that there aren't java 8 packages available on trusty (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/trusty-backports/+bug/1368094)

Hi Morgan Rhodes,

I see, thx for your quick feedback.

ps: i didn't try it, but how puppetdb package works ? according to documentation, it should not be available too ?
doc : https://docs.puppet.com/puppetdb/5.0/#nix-server-with-jvm-18

Hi Morgan Rhodes,

You should update your documentation to reflect that then.

Hi Elliott Friedman,

The puppetserver docs don't list trusty as a supported platform: https://puppet.com/docs/puppetserver/5.1/install_from_packages.html
