 Description

I am getting this error, using a 3.6.1 client and server. The error did not occur before the upgrade to 3.6 series (I was on 3.5.1 before):

Info: Applying configuration version '1401250438'
Info: /Stage[main]/Python::Config/File[/root/.pip/pip.conf]: Filebucketed /root/.pip/pip.conf to puppet with sum 286e59a60ff697fd7d10713b1b8a96d7
Notice: /Stage[main]/Python::Config/File[/root/.pip/pip.conf]/content: content changed '{md5}286e59a60ff697fd7d10713b1b8a96d7' to '{md5}9ab398869278153ae8c7dc63fd65effa'
Error: Could not prefetch package provider 'pip': #<Puppet::ExecutionFailure:0x7fdd14c3a610>
Error: /Package[supervisor]: Could not evaluate: #<Puppet::ExecutionFailure:0x7fdd14c31740>
Error: /Package[supervisor-wildcards]: Could not evaluate: #<Puppet::ExecutionFailure:0x7fdd14c24f90>

The error message is not very useful...what is an ExecutionFailure and why did it fail?

Can you include a small manifest that demonstrates the problem, run the agent with --trace, and include the stacktrace in this ticket?

This was caused by a local PyPi mirror not responding, no longer an issue.
