When changing the rspec syntax from should syntax into expect().to syntax in spec/unit/provider/package/pkgng_spec.rb I discovered that one of the tests were broken. The code for the broken test was:

     it "should retrieve the correct version of the latest package" do
      provider.latest.should_not nil

It's missing == after should_not and when adding that (or when changing to expect syntax) the test fails. It's currently commented out.

It looks like in the context of the resource and provider being created by rspec, prefetch never gets called. and the provider's property_hash isn't populated.
