If there is an older version of Puppet on Windows, which needs to be retained and a newer Puppet version is installed, the older version is implicitly deleted.
This is very inconvenient because I have a need to support two Puppet versions on the same Windows machine. Is there a solution for this? If not, can it be fixed?

Hi Jay Mav, it's not currently possible, because all Puppet MSI's use the same UpgradeCode. This is what windows installers uses to detect that a newer MSI is updating an already installed version. One option is to use Orca to edit the UpgradeCode in the MSI, so that they'll be viewed as unrelated applications. Note this isn't a supported workflow, so I'm going to close this ticket as won't fix.
