This ticket would cover experimenting with having Puppet Server run under JRuby 9000, including any code changes to just get the server up and running and investigating / resolving any unit / acceptance test failures that may come up. Would be good also to try to do a couple of Gatling runs against a Puppet Server running under JRuby 9000 to see how well the server holds up and how performance compares to Puppet Server when running under JRuby 1.7.x.
